Have lined up a vacation work spot with a large consultancy firm over the summer, and should I not make a major stuff, odds are that they will offer me a grad position at the end of next year. Worked my arse off just to get this position so is hard to gauge whether or not i'll get this kind of opening again.
Have also hoped for years of taking a year off after Uni to go travelling around Europe, checking out the sights and chasing French and Spanish girls. This means that should I be offered a grad position for straight after Uni, I won't be able to take it.
With the current downturn affecting Australia, my hunch is telling me that if I don't take a grad job with this firm, there won't be another chance like this in the future. My hunch also tells me that I'll only 21 once, and I'll only have this opportunity to go travelling around Europe like this once in my lifetime.
Any suggestions?
