Re: I blame Fevola
How can the Tigers get Richo one on one against Jamison so often while Fev was 3 on 1 most of the night?
Either the Tigers were doing more gut running to get there, in which case it should have been them that ran out of legs, or they were leaving their men to get to Fev.
Why are our other forwards not leading hard away from Fevola and dragging their opponent with them and if the opponents are not following, why are we still kicking to Fevola?
I just think our forwards do not work hard enough for each other. Lead, lead, lead, into space, out wide, double back etc etc, but stay the hell out of Fevola's space. If the opponents are dropping back between you and Fev, demand the ****ing ball as the midfield are coming forward.
This happens every year, Fev outnumbered and nobody else gets the ball. Even when Fish is there, he generally judges balls falling short or takes a pack mark where Fev is involved as well. They all seem to want to play out of the square or they are all getting forced to run to the square because our midfielders lack vision.
Judd will be one to fix this as he looks for viable options inside 50, not just for the star option.
I must say thought that Fev's hands were shocking last night, must have dropped 4-5 inside 50. Another 4-5 shots at vital times of the game and we might have broken their spirit.
