I like Lambert as a loophole option. Named as Emergency so will play, just a question of when in my book. Vandenberg may well not get upgraded at all this year. Big waste of a money earning spot IMO. Roos has a history of taking his time with Rookies.

Yes, young rookies. Vandenberg is 23yo though so I'm not sure that applies to him. In any case, if he's not promoted it becomes a moot point I guess.

I don't think the reason he holds back rookies is age, I think it's to train and tech game plans and structures.

Darling listed as 4-8 weeks, for what that is worth.

Yeah mate Darling is just starting to participate in training again, has a huge base but to build off so they may just plunk him at FF. I think Lamb will play 10 - 15 games FWIW.
