Kerr now believes he can play a good part in West Coast season 2011 , believe it or not ?

West Coast are being very cautious and holding him back against his will :o

Play him in the WAFL for six weeks , please....

Sounds about right.

On the main page in a thread you contributed to (i think) - is a Daniel Kerr highlights package - knowing his career is largely over makes me sad!!

Indeed.
When you guys were at your peak, I rated Kerr as your best.

Was it 2005 GF and you guys were going down the shitter and Kerr was off injured...he came back on after a shot or two and dragged you back into the game?

I would agree if we were two months into the season byt to have injuries before the season starts is not good !

At this stage we are going into the season with one bloke under a cloud - that's about as good an injury list as you are going to get.

In the past we've had or best players unable to complete pre-seasons - so whilst they may get up to play (like Cox) one look at some of his lumbering in the early and latter rounds show how underdone he was.

Not sure - I blocked that game out of my mind with 1 and a half bottles of vodka

Why sad? Cycle of life and all that stuff, look forward to the next one appearing on the field (whoever that might be). What, too cold?:p

Mainly sad that I reckon his career was cut short at 25 - when he had so much ahead of him.

Kerr was a class above your average A grade player though....

You could have a premiership winning team and still not have the sort of player he could be. Collingwood for instance...

If we're going to delay his start anyway, we might as well put Kerr on the long term injury list so Hams gets a go right?

There has not been much news about Kerr since they increased his training load... I remember a few weeks ago the headlines were all about Kerr going to start full training.

Wonder how his body is pulling up?

If we're intending to bring him back through the WAFL then he can't go on the LTI list.

If he's on the LTI list then he's ineligible for East Freo. And once he goes on the list he has to stay there for 8 weeks.

Do people have to stay on the LTI for 8 weeks if the mid-season upgrade comes earlier?

eg. Someone goes on the LTI 4 weeks before the mid-season upgrade for Hams, can we change Hams to our mid-season upgrade and take the LTI bloke off the LTI there and then?

What happens if we put him on the injury list now?

The season is say 6 weeks away - can we elevate Hams for the first 2 weeks of the year - and then bring Kerr back through the WAFL from round 3?
