I reckon leave Sandi out for another week to get him right if he's still not right and stick with the Warnock/Gilmore combo in the ruck. I hope they do not bring back Murphy given Drum's effort, he deserves another week at least to see if he can keep up that form. Drum has really filled out since last i saw him. I reckon we could have another really good half forward there if he keeps at it.

In: Sandilands, Hadrill, Farmer(if available)
Out: Dodd, unsure who else to drop would like M Carr but he played well

I normally think Macca should be dropped but i think he did a very good job on Mcleod....

I still think he does suck in the midfield and should give way to a younger player soon.... but for the time being he can stay in and tag an attacking half back flanker as we know he always gives enourmous effort and will do everything to help the side win.

Having said that, surely Foster deserves a game soon and who else can we drop? Webster pressing also and Farmer likely to return... give Sandi another week rest.

Ottens has been very important to the cats, so I think if Sandi is anywhere near 100% he should be back in. While Murphy has seemed lost this year, I'd like Harvs to give him a chance to play more minutes, but whether this is the game to do that or not I'm not too sure. Foster can't really do much more to earn a chance, either.

Supposition makes picking a team very hard early in the week. We all suppose Dodd wont be fit. Farmer is fit.

Dodd will be very hard to replace.
So. selections with suppositions. Dodd out. Sandi in, Farmer in.
Happy for all his good games this season might find it hard to keep his spot if Sandi is available. Still I reckon he's done enough to keep a spot.It will be tough gig but i'd keep happy and throw him into the backline, rotating with Solly.

Out Dodd & Duffield.
In Sandi & Farmer.

i dont think there is any chance of duffield being dropped.... harvey has said players like him, warnock and drum are the future and will get backed in for the rest of the season :thumbsu:

I'm not sure about Duff being 'no chance' but the idea of the likes of he, Drum and Warnock being our future both long and short term is ok by me.

Overall it it becomes very hard to predict.

Harvey showed last Saturday he is capable of doing the unexpected which looks natural.
Hopefully he can continue with this type of coaching.

haddrill definetly needs to be brought in. in my honest opinion before his injuries he was definetly the best full back in your side. was parkers replacement in the making. now its time to bring him in and get him some games under the belt to see if he should be kept in for your assault next year.

No need for changes except the Dodd injury. Play Haddrill, named in best on the weekend in WAFL. Confidence is up, lets see if he still has it. Farmer wont play, will be a club suspension most likely, could still have the groin trouble as well.

Foster is just about breaking through that door.....

I personally think we should try and run Geelong off the there feet. So we need more of a midfield structure this week rather than key position tall players. and if it rains Freo should choose a running squad.

IN: Webster, Schammer, Farmer
Out: Dodd, Macmannus, Thornton
Emg: Foster Haddrill Browne

Sandiland should rest for another week and be fit for the Derby.
If it rains big time i would drop Warnok or Tarrent for Foster or Browne
Johnson and Gilmore should do alright in the ruck in the rain.
any news on Peake? could be a good inclusion.

Browne and Peake are no chance. Browne played reserves last week for Claremont (bye this week) and on the FFC website you can see the Player Development coach saying he will play in reserves the week after. Given his history they would be mad to play him before he's strung a few injury free games together in the WAFL. As for Peake, I think playing a guy with a twice broken collarbone so soon is asking for trouble.

Mate, you are deluded. Shauny Mac played on McLeod last week and kept him accountable. Even mentioned post match by Harvey. He'll play.

INS:Sandilands, Farmer
OUT: Dodd, ?????

Emergency: very unlucky exclusion from last week !!

Name a player you think Macca will hold down from this fast running Geelong group. They are all young and quick. And yes Macca was good on Mcleod on the weekend.
I think many people would prefer a Foster, Browne, Webster, or Schammer to play Geelong this weekend.
We dont need him to put his body on the line this week thats what Solly and J.Carr are there for. We need pace and plenty of it. Watch the Geelong games and understand. There good and "Quick"

McManus will probably play forward on Milburn, try and keep his influence out of the game. He sets them up a lot from defence. The past few weeks Macca has taken Scotland (Carl) and McLeod (Adel) both are the main play makers from defence. He will play on Milburn.

They are fair points, but if we move the ball as well as we did last w/end the speed factor is nullified. You look slow when you are chasing your tail. Last week Haze, J & M Carr, Belly did not look slow. That's coz Duffman was in there for a while on Gioodwin etc. Its going to be hard to drop anyone, but my gut feeling is it will be Gilmore unfortunately. He'll be the emergency probably.

Tonight on Ch 7 Harvey said that Peake was in contention ! He said that 5 players were looking at a berth in the side, i'm guessing i.e. 211, Wizard, Peake, Haddrill & Murphy. Hard to squeeze them in.

Can't see Murphy being considered after Drum kicked 4 goals. A foward line consisting of Pav, Tarrant, Drum, Solomon and Murphy would be way too tall, especially with rain forecast.

Hopefully they are looking at Foster.

injury update posted on afl.com. Dodd only bruising which is good.

FREMANTLE
Steven Dodd (shoulder bruising) 2-4 weeks
Adam Campbell (knee) - 2 weeks
Shane Parker (hamstring) - 2 weeks
Brett Peake (collarbone) - 1 week
Darren Rumble (hamstring) - 1 week
Ryley Dunn (knee) - test
Justin Longmuir (knee) - indefinite

IN: Webster, Schammer, Farmer
Out: Dodd, Macmannus, Thornton
Emg: Foster Haddrill Browne

The same Webster that is pretty slow even though your looking for speed?
ANd the same Browne that has only played reserves at WAFL level in his comeback from another injury?
Oh and the same Thornton that provides excellent run fro defense and has been sensational since returning to the side?

Your ins and outs are very laughable.
