With Holland out, I believe the Pies may stick with Davis off the bench. If Davis goes, I think it will be for Rhyce Shaw if anyone. I'd give Shaw another week because we don't want him exposed with lack of match fitness and practice.

OUT: Davis, Holland

Although I'm not sure if Wakelin is needed. O'Brien can stay for team balance, we don't have enough small defenders for Port's small forwards. Davis would be unlucky to be dropped even though he had a shocker he has a good record against Port Power.
However those are the most likely changes.

i dont think that it is a good idea to drop o'brien he is making massive improvements every game! i say keep him in the side (as long as he holds his own) until rusling recovers.

we shouldnt be rushing rhys back in, he is no where near ready! Those who have had reco's will understand and besides, we are not desperate atm so why risk him?

just read that brogan is out so maybe wakelin wont be needed after all.

perhaps a Davies for Brodie swap is likely?
maybe even pendelbury? didnt get to watch much of his game for willi last week, didnt see him do much tho?!

I think that booch deserves a run in the firsts, hasnt been playing badly with limited opertunites at willy, and is more of a replacement tagger.

Maybe Caracella or Pendlebury for Leon...but I think he will get one more week against Port as Hoggy says he loves playing them

I just remembered he always kicks goals against Port, they even randomly played his in the Gualifying Final 2003 remember? I think they only played him that match because Davuis has good games against them...
 
davies deserves a chance more than anyone else I reckon ,good pre seaon and unlucky not to get a game round one

With the loss of Dean Brogan, Brendan Lade will run virtually the entire game in the ruck. Rather than have two finesse ruckman in Fraser and Richards, I'd like to see Cameron Cloke come in and be super physical in all ruck contests against Lade. Then bring Josh in to run him off his feet. Lade is a huge part of PA's structure and I think with the short rest and lack of back up we need to beat on him with a thick body as much as possible.

As far as match-ups....I'd like to see Jimmy Clement at CHF in a defensive role against Chad Cornes. He could follow him into the midfield also when he goes on the ball which Cornes has done the past couple of weeks.

Wakes to replace Travis CLoke to give us another tall defender in case Presti gets hurt or needs relief in his match up with Tredrea.

Davis should stay in, good games against port as u said

was thinking, Obree usually has good games against port too, so we should get the ball ok from the centre.
