Nnnnnnnnnnnnooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr ********kking Hell

I'm guessing they want height in the backline. If it was ruck/forward, Pattison probably would have gotten the nod.

I'd like to say they wanted the experience, but Hall's lack of football smarts makes that the last thing you'd want him for.

Really annoys me how they name Meyer and Pattison yet their not played, why bother naming them if you dont intend on playing them!

To give them motivation, they know they're pretty close to getting a selection so they should know that and work harder on the track and with Coburg to break in.
Its probably more about matchups anyway, you have Pattison (ruck), Meyer (wing/flank) or Hall (tall utility), its all a matter of the type of player you think you'll need to help win the game

Also Hall should have the same chance as the others like Tiva & Chaffey til round 8 to prove to Terry that he's worth keeping.

i honestly dont beleive playing pattison will be benificial yet let him spend more time in the gym seeing he is a ruckmen he would get killed against most of the current ruckmen so let him bulk up while getting valueable experience at coburg

Didnt Plough say something along the likes of the old heads; Tiv, Chaffy, Hall etc. have untill Round 8 to prove their worth to the side and if they will be in the side 2006 onwards and then he will blood kids?

i dont mind the move, i expect that he will play as a tall wingman...can move like a gazelle and tough as nails....
I doubt Hall will make it on skill alone, but he does have a bit of aggression. If Wallace can bring out that mongrel on him then that mixture of menace and athleticism in a big man could make him useful.

Wallace keeps talking about our best 22. He'll pick the best players regardless. If the kids are going to be any good, they will break into the 22 soon enough without being given a free ride. Naming them emergencies tells them two things - they are close to the best 22, but they need to fight to get into it.

Hall's a bit of a pinch hitter. Can spend 10 minutes a quarter as a kick behind the play ruckman or extra tall forward coming off the bench.

He's not really good enough to ruck the whole game or play in a key position either. But he can change off the bench find some space and outmark his smaller opponent. I hope that is the role they have earmarked for him. If he has to ruck all day I am not confident of our chances.

A wise old man once told me you only need 3 inches...

1 inch to go in
1 inch to go out
1 inch to go in and out.

:D

Im sorry it happened that way Leper.

We're here to talk to about it whenever you're comfortable.
