Unless Biglands won't play and Nelson will

Hard to tell until the SANFL teams are named.

Teams

Well it doesn't look like the Kangaroos have dropped any of their big name players. IMO, Fitzgerald should have been dropped instead of Schell, so he better pull down some marks & kick a few goals this week.

Pagan is weak as water...if he really wanted to make a statement he'd have dropped Harvey, Pickett, King and Grant....absolutely gutless ;)

There's a fine line in footy, Schelly took a couple of grabs and if he'd kicked 2 goals I reckon Fitzy might be with South this week. Let's hope this show of faith in Fitzy inspires him to a good game.

And the big three are all playing this week...I didn't think there was room for all of them but I guess if Marsh goes forward.....and Rhett can play back as well if need be.

All in all, looks a solid lineup, ready and raring to tackle the Kangas! Also interesting to see the Kangas play a 30 minute full on match at training last night, will either backfire on them or be a masterstroke.....

Ant - It looks like he is making a statement by naming them on the bench, so I suppose there is still a chance of any of them being dropped (I doubt it though).

Nah, well, I think he's made his point...for them to win he needs those players on the ground and firing....they would have got the message. They're all class acts and I wouldn't be surprised to see them all in the best players for the Kangas. :(

Another selection bungle!!!

biglands is fit and is left out

The guy is our number one ruckman and had great form before he got injured

Marsh plays a half decent game and retains is spot

The selectors have a love affair with Marsh for absolutely no reason

Rhett you should be spewing

At least he gets to play for the mighty Eagles.

Marsh hasn't developed like I thought he would have, but I tend to think that we tend to overrate Rhett a bit too. Sure he works hard, but he's taken 6 marks in 5 games (compared to Marsh's 5 in 4), and his disposal always scares me.

It's a pretty sad reflection on our ruck division when our 3 leading rucks have taken 18 marks BETWEEN THEM this year - none of them rank in the top 20 at the club in marks.

Yes, I agree that's always been a problem

But Clarke is a great tap ruckman and Biglands offers a great physical prescence and is high up on the taps list as well considering he has missed two games

Marsh on the other hand - not sure what he has to offer other than potential.

Jars - I completely concur with your comments. It is well known Burton doesn't like opposition ruckman who jump into him, so we leave out Biglands & play 2 tap ruckman instead. Midfield will be the key to this game & if Burton/Porter get on top of Clarke/Marsh or midfielders could be in for a tough day. Let's hope not & Roo (rather than the Roos), can celebrate his 200th.:)
