Bo Nixon really struggles in the time he spends on the ground. Hopefully a taste of footy at senior level will show him what he needs to do to come back better.

Congrats to Maxwell. That is yet another youngster blooded this year. With less injury worries and good recruiting over the summer 2005 could be a fantastic year.

Sorry Nick but according to the Feral Hun Bo got 60 minutes on the ground.
He was f'ing atrocious and deserves to go back to the VFL and try to find form.

I Would like to see Both youngsters from Last week Stay in and Maxwell to Get his Debut. Hopefully he can show some signs!

Its good to Debut anotehr kid because evn though the thinness of a our list really stands out this will help that not to be as noticeable.

Maxwell played very well in the VFL finals for Williamstown last year. He's a bit taller than most of our big assed one paced seconds players. I don't think he had a great season last year (injury or something) but he finished off the year very strongly and played in a Premiership side.

Second year as a rookie, promoted just last week. Thats about all I know.

Expect Adelaide to have the eddge in the midfield but the Pies forward line is starting to find some form and efficiency and just may be able to break the game open and kick the 15 goals or so required to win this game. Tarrant is due for a big one and with Hart underdone and Cloke drifting forward creating some havoc it should open up the game for some of the smaller players like L Davis and Didak who also is due for a good game. (Adelaides defensive smalls are pretty poort)

McGregor has been handy this year and Carey has found some form, however I don't see either kicking a big bag on us. The old stager midfield of the Crows however may just run riot and almost kick them to a win anyway.

Close game and high scoring game Im tipping but poor quality,

Hart is unlikely to play the whole game & given he is coming back from a hammy, I doubt the Crows would play him on Tarrant. We appear 1 tall short in our backline.

The pace of some of the Crow midfielders are my main concern (Stenglein, McLeod, Johnco.ck and Edwards).

Otherwise, we match up well on them.

O'Bree on Ricciuto better not happen! Stinky McGough in the middle is necessary to direct the supply to our boys and not let them run it out of the middle.

Our key is to fight tooth and nail for the footy at stopages.

I will be very interested in watching Richards against a real ruckman. Great test of his technique and great learning experience. I hope to see cam at CHF. J.Cloke should get Carey. He did a good job last time but Carey would be more confident going in to this week. Good test for Clokey. Hopefully we don’t play any tags and MCG plays in the middle and isn’t given responsibility for a player. Let the Crows worry about tagging if they want to do so. Other than that I don’t care much about the matchups. I hope we play attacking and not defensive.

Matthew Clarke is EXACTLY the type of ruckman we hope Richards develops in to, so it will be a great test.

Should help Carey too that he is fit too, unlike last time he played on J Cloke. Hopefully you don't tag either Roo or Macca, as I reckon they could run riot IF Clarke gets his hands to the ball. Would be good to see a close, attacking game for a change.
