Interesting Selection - Which would you take...

The selection below covers nearly all our players used this year. This is something different which i have never seen on our board. Enter in your selection based on a group who will win you a grand final and then clarify why. Nearly each group covers players in each section of the ground.

Will be interesting to see who gets the vote here as i think they are pretty evenly matched, although i can see some not getting a vote for various reasons.

Good luck, its a tough one and one in which im interested to see if it sways one way... I battled, but only because Fevola, Hadley & Bower cover all areas is the reason why i chose them.

Either way we have them all so its not a bad thing isnt it.

What am I choosing these based on? Ie am I basing my choice on if I had to start a team from scratch which 3 would I choose, or am I choosing based on versatility/talent of the group etc...

Fevola, Hadley and Bower right now as they are all good players. This thread doesn't make an awful lot of sense though.

If it is which group do I most want to see at an all mens spa ... I abstain.

Yeah it is now. I've voted for the popular choice, but a Kreuzer-Bentick-Walker combination wouldn't be bad in the future.

Anyway, I just voted the group with Judd. He can make anyone look good, even Quinten Lynch and Ashley Hansen. Re: the Fev group if Fev isn't getting supply from an A-grade deliverer (Hadley more an extractor), well then I don't see him exerting his potential on the game's result.

Hence, gimme Judd.

Unique thread. I chose Hampson ect. based on potential.

Then again, my lot could easily decide that AFL wasn't the sport for them after all, that they're getting to an age where perhaps they should take a coaching job rather than start at a knew club again, and that they'd in fact prefer to get paid sitting at home injured rather than actually play the game.

Would I still get paid as coach if I had no players front up?

Definitely the backline is important, but I still think getting your hands on the ball first is the most important aspect. Lol, its hard with only 3 players!

However, the 4th player I add to my group would Jammo or Waite.

Browne - what a start, looks so comfortable

This grouping idea reminds me of a Calcutta I ran on a clubs B&F (great fund-raisers) when there was a stand out favourite - can recommend it if you ever have this problem

yeah that was a massive error by me. as soon as i summited the thread i new i forgot about Jammo. Should have been in the group with Fisher & Murphy... which probably would have given them more votes hey...

Cloke, Judd, Browne

I took it as which 3 are most likely to play in our next premiership. is that right?

The Fev, Hadley, Bower option would be my next choice.

I would really like to see Cloke given a chance to nail down CHF when we finally sort out our rucking issues in a couple of years. I really think he could play a role for us there and do it well.

Judd - needs no explaination!

Browne - I believe will be a very handy small defender for many years to come.

Why Fev, Hadley and Bower did'nt quite make it.

Fev - depending on how soon we win this premiership, there is a slight chance he may be traded/retired by then.

Hadley - no issue, I believe he is a good chance of playing in our next premiership team.

Bower - my main concern from this group, while I have loved the improvement that I have seen in him this year, I still get nervous every time I see him with the ball and still have a little bit of doubt as to if he will be in our best 22 long term. If he keeps improving, he will be a good chance.

Agree with that at this point. As much as a i love the effort of cloke and how he has performed this year and the start of last year he will probably be outed for kreuzer and hammer once their bodies have matured. As for O'hAilpin not sure where he is going right now but his skills IMO are not up to scratch so is out. And harlett well cant really string anything together but only time will tell.

Hard choice this thing. In the end i chose Judd combo lol i was a bit confused on the critea but he is the best player on our list so that why
