Dane Swan has collected 593 disposals this year.
The record for most disposals since statistics started in a year was 756 in 1997 by Robert Harvey.
Chris McDermott holds the record for most disposals, not including finals with 720 in 1992.
Tony Shaw holds the record for most disposals for the Pies with 736, second to Harvey on the leaderboard for his 1990 year.
So Swanny needs:
164 disposals in six games (providing we make it to the second week/third week with quarter final win of finals), at an average of 27.33 disposals a game to take the record off Harvey.
144 disposals in the same amount of time at an average of 24 disposals a game to take the record off Shaw.
127 disposals in his remaining four games of the season at an average of 31.75 disposals to take the record off Chris McDermott. While this may seem massive, he's currently averaging 32.9 disposals a game.
Barring injury I think he has a good chance of taking the first two records, and could well break McDermott's record as well.
I know this isn't important, but I thought its a fun fact that we can support Swanny over
