Strange moment at @CollingwoodFC training. Nathan Buckley just got team into a huddle to sing club song at top of their voice.

Let's be honest, we've all been a bit uneasy about our choral work in the past. Several on here have called out even champions like Swanny over his lack of verve in the victory circle. The way I see it, we don't have a Pavarotti in the team, but good diction runs parallel with precise kicking, and pleasing harmonies promise effective team cohesion. Bucks is a man who thinks outside the proscenium arch.

I think the match committee picked up a few players last week failing to hit their notes contrary to Bucks' instructions. Singing drills very much required if they are going to execute in that area.

Unfortunately, he won't get much practice singing the song in the twos at the moment.

Knowing the way a footy club generally works, I wouldn't be surprised if they were warned they'd have to sing the song out loud if they didn't increase their talk (or otherwise) in training drills... And I daresay he called their bluff haha.

I have lots of inside sources at the club, and they tell me and me alone that several players were heard to sing "Seedsman barrackers are shouting, as all barrackers should" on ANZAC Day.
