There was a good interview with Tippets Manager last week on KG and the General, worth a listen http://kgandthegeneral.com.au/Episodes/p214.aspx

As Tippet, and as his manager, said all year long, he wants to be at the crows.

Also of interest is what the manager said about the crows when you compare it to what was said about the power, by Cassisis manager.

Interesting, poor port... He never hinted towards leaving besides leaving his contract till the end of the year so he could focus on his game.

So glad we could keep Kurt, his goal against Collingwood in the dying minutes was unbelievable. For those at the game, it was louder and more electric than any game at AAMI i've been too after he kicked it. I knew he would be good, but until then i never realized how good, stands up in finals, big marks, big goals, been working on the snaps, starting to lead, and most importantly are his second efforts and aggressiveness. He got two goals from his ability to keep the ball in the forward 50 and draw a free kick from perseverance.

Bit off track, but i was just rewatching the dying minutes and can't believe how good he will be and how important he is for our future.

AFC are 1 of the most - if not the most professionally run club in th AFL.

We are going places with this young list & it is a great place to be.

Kurt is obviously of great character/man of integrity & has a great loyalty to his team mates & the club for giving him an opportunity/sticking by him in injury.

As long as we were reasonable with our offer (which we were), Kurt was always going to stay & replay the club/players for the faith they have put in him.

Look after people & they will usually look after you. :thumbsu: 1 of the simple rules of life.

I look forward to many years of Kurt leading our forward line as we become 1 of the dominant sides of the AFL.
