Grab it. Wonderful movie. I kept on passing it up thinking it would be boring. It was anything but.

well its based on a true story so, but what I liked is how every 1/2 an hour you'd be surprised like when you find out the girl in the car is his sister and not his GF and when Vince Vaghn's character gets arrested.

overall I'd go 4.5/5

For some reason, I was convinced Leonardo Di Caprio was in this, until I watched it with the wife and we realised, "Hey, that's not Leonardo". Not really my kind of film, but an interesting watch.

IMO one of the best movies released in a number of years... Sean Penn is a movie making master, Emile Hirsch's performance was just massive, and the score was brilliant.

The book this movie was based on is brilliant also.

Just watched it amazing film
Emile Hirsch was amazing completly memorising in every scene however it must be said I though Hal Holbrook who plays the old man Chris befriends at the end almost stole the show, rapt to see he was nominated for an oscar. This is a classic film which will become a cult classic.

No, the story is much more powerful than the ending... although it is pretty sad.

There is a slight twist you may not expect even though you know how it eventually turns out.
