Intra-club match

I went to the intra-club on Saturday and was sitting at the players' race and then up the city end behind the goals.

Just a brief report.....

Better players:

Clarke - good use of the ball and running
Woolnough - solid grab and good disposal by foot
Foster - cool head and decent disposal
GA Jnr - ball magnet, goes in hard, fluffed a couple of shots on goal (nerves, I'd say)
Mensch - didn't fall over
Graham - improved accuracy on goal. like to see it in a match situation
Carrazzo - Spriggs stunt double
Street - good tap work

Work to do: I didn't see White touch the ball. The only thing Lord did was elbow someone in the face and give away a free.

Facial hair update: Scarlett is regressing further into the 1970s. Josh Hunt had a poxy beard reminscent of 'Scottie too hotty' of the WWF.

How did Henry Plairfair go, does young gazza move like the old man, or is he quicker.

Young Gazza is a completely different player to his dad. Definitely a prospect for the midfield, more running and handballing.

You can't expect him to take mark of the year or bust open too many packs yet, remember he's only 18. I expect he will play towards the end of the year in the seniors.

Didn' t see Playfair, it was hard to know who the rookies were without numbers.
