Fremantle will hold an intra-club match at Subiaco Oval on Thursday 15 February.

It’s the first chance for the club’s members and supporters to see the team in action after a gruelling pre-season training campaign, and the only competitive hit-out before the NAB Cup opener.

Full details will be released on fremantlefc.com.au early next week.

Channel ten said next Thursday. Will probably be in the morning, which doesn't give the indigenous boys much of a break.

It was hard to hear but Jlo ready to go third week nab cup, hase ready to go and will play a couple of preseason games.walker and warnock will start in the nab.Bell and Farmer had the week off.Watching run around gets you wanting the season to start. It was players taking groups of kids for auskick stuff in the start then monday style training at the end.The kids reckon it was fantastic.

Pretty sure they said it would be at 6.00 or 6.30 on Thursday 15th

Can anyone confirm the times? I am keen to go have a squiz.

Gates are normally open at Subi. You just walk in, grab the best seat you can and watch the action. :thumbsu:

What else did CC have to say d_b?

Imperial - is this for members only or for everyone? Because I am still waiting on my membership pack (I have "split" from the rest of the family and gone for some premium tickets this year... ).

Anyone can go. Just wander in and sit down. That's the way it's been in the past, but they have been morning games the past few years. Can't see it will be any different if it's in the early evening.

What a silly time to have a intra club match, unless it turns out to be this weekend.
Surely it wont be next Thursday the 15th with the NAB Cup starting on the 1th for us.

nab cup derby is on the 25th, so the players will get a 10 day break.

Broadbridge was on 882 this arvo. They mentioned the intra-club twice, but didn't say if it was in the morning or the afternoon. Broadbridge did say that Warnock is expected to be out for 3-4 weeks, and will hopefully be available for the last 2 nab cup games. Schammer is back to his usual cheeky self which is a good sign. Tarrant should play atleast 2 nab cup games.

There are putting the info for the match on the freo web site early next week and they are inviting fans to come down to have a look.I'm going to pick up a doc pack from freo tomorrow what would be the best time to catch them running around

Broadbridge said that we'd have around 35 players available for the intra-club game, with young wafl players brought in to make up the numbers.

Not a soul there today. Maybe they're up at Subi? I remember last year around the time of the intra-club match, that CC said something about changing to the "in-season" training schedule. The sessions at Freo Oval seemed to be more inside gym work, and less outside track work after that, except for People's Nights, but that's still a few weeks away though AFAIK.

They have been away from home for a week, it's not really surprising they might get a day off.
