What are each of their line ups? I beat my first one the other day but it's been a huge struggle.

Varies. Arlo I struggled. Some of the match Ups are tough. Gyarados is a tosser.

One thing is attack IV is great, but you need mons to asorb punishment as well

Blaziken 2800 ×2 with blaze kick legacy move
15 attack machamp maxed ×2
Mamoswine maxed.
Ray Ray at 3300ish.
Melmetal is apparently solid because it's so bulky and can take some damage.i have a shithouse one and no candy so that ruled me out
All invaluable. You also need to feel out the teams. If you find your going against scyther and it has its bug charge move. Let blaziken tank it for 25ish health. You rather keep a block against a heavy hitter like gyarados.

I found the best tactic is using someone with a fast attack who can unleash a charged attack quickly to burn one of their shields, but has to have a quick attack that can take their first Mon down without relying on charged attack. If this first Mon can unleash a second charged attack then you're set up well for the win with your other two, but if your first Mon dies quick then you're in trouble.

Against Sneaville I just couldn't find a Mon that could last, they all seemed to fade instantly.

I also hate that Potions are so hard to get out of stops/gyms, I never have enough.

I did gain 2 additional work spawns though.

**** Arlo is a tough bastard. I just don't have a powerful enough fire pokemon to take him on and nothing else can stand up to Scyther and Scizor.

I get through Magnezone just by chipping away with Jolteon which isn't too bad, but Tyranitar struggles through Scyther as it is.

Try the training battles against the team leaders. It's not a sure thing but if you win you're a chance of getting a Sinnoh stone as a reward. Just try it once per day, you should get one eventually.

So dumb question, but what are the major points of development of the game since the initial release? And did they fix the battery drain issues on IOS? Haven’t played since 2015

PvP, counting steps while phone has screen turned off without needing Go+, local trade, assload of special research tasks, nearby Pokemon system is still a little arse.
