Everynight I have gone past there on my way home there have been multiple stops with lures as well

I'm still having trouble tracking down Pokemon that are apparently nearby. There's got to be a range in kilometres how far away they are.

Circled around a whole suburb last night looking for that electabuzz '3 feet' away with no luck.

Given up looking for anything that they say is nearby I just keep going straight.

I find that sometimes the app bugs out with the 3 feet guys sometimes, leaving them on your radar despite them being long gone.

Resetting the app makes them disappear.

Saw this guy sitting on top of one of my local gyms tonight- had also forgotten that he existed.

Also, I've developed a new strategy of using my 1000cp vaporeon to knock out the local 4 gyms, only to fill the gyms with jobbers who are only their to hold on for the 10 minutes it takes to claim the 40 gold.

Noticed this before. I think it's when you drag your finger to the side slightly it curves. Just make sure to go straight.

Yes it does, that ring shows its CP level, but it's a waste on something that low. Wait until you catch one at least 3/4 to 4/5 full before spending any candies on it.

So does that mean that each Pokemon species has its own set max cp?

Also, should I power up to max before evolving?

Found a really good spot on the corner of the local shopping centre...... so did the other 50+ people there. Sitting on 2 lured stops, gained 2 levels and grabbed a whole heap of new pokemon before my phone went flat and i had to go home

Will be buying a power brick tomorrow, i could've sat there for a while.

Yeah some Pokemon are always going to have a higher max than others, but all can be ridiculously low. Often you will catch an evolved Pokemon that is weaker than the unevolved version.

I don't really level up before evolving, I'll just wait until I get a decent one that is at the absolute minimum 3/4. I did level an Eevee a few levels before evolving it just to make sure the end result was beefy enough (1k Vaperon). The main reason for this is atm candy holds more value in evolves, but once you play and collect more I think levelling first will yield the better results as it seems to provide more for the cost.

Saw 3 guys this morning walking with their phones looking for Pokemon.

Pokemon Go has gone crazy reminds of when the Yoyo craze was back in vogue during high school.

The lures seem to be pretty rubbish.

Have sat around in the car next to a lure while waiting for people.

First time there were nothing but zubats, rattattas and pidgeys.

Second one was zubat, porygon, zubat, poliwag, koffing, zubat and pidgey.

None of them good enough to write home about.

Even though I've picked up 3 more with way more CP, I just can't bring myself to trade in my original Charmander.
