Absolute scenes outside the block arcade on Collins street this afternoon. Came out of a job interview and fired up the app only to find a Zapdos raid directly across the road from me, but I almost walked off because there was no one around.

Luckily by the time I went up the street for a coffee and came back there was literally 30 people there and we did it easy. Caught it with 5 premier balls to spare and jagged a fast TM to boot. I still need a Lugia and a couple more zappers to potentially trade for Articunos and Moltres that I missed.

Weezing raid popped up again, so I looked up what it was weak against and went down to solo it. Not without its moments of suspense, as after dumping the bad preselect of attackers the game gave me for a psychic heavy (Alakazam, Exeggutor, Slowbro) team backed by Rhydon, and Gyarados because it attacks fast and is high cp, I noticed Rhydon was a little below full hp - popped into items and gave him a potion, exited back to the battle countdown screen, and with 10s left until battle it had reset my team selection back to the shitty default Managed to fix it just in time. Speaking of time, also beat Weezing with 1s left on the clock. Caught him with ball 6.

Also caught a wild Jumpluff just before, so between them that took me to 190/217, and I hit level 28

Problem with these raids is I don't know if there are any other randoms wanting to battle the gym until I use my raid pass then there is only 120sec for someone else to join in.
There needs to be some sort of way to see if there are people wanting to raid before yuo commit to a battle.

If you use a code to try and join a private match it won't use it unless the group exists. It goes in order, Bulbasaur, Bulbasaur, Bulbasaur. Bulbasaur, Bulbasaur, Charmander. Bulbasaur, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, etc..

If you are unlucky though Bulbasaur, Bulbasaur, Bulbasaur might only have one person and it will use your pass.

• Added the ability for Trainers to spin the Photo Disc at a Gym using the Pokémon GO Plus accessory.
• Added the ability to view the number of Trainers entered, and preparing, for a Raid Battle before using a Raid Pass.
• Improved Pokémon Collection screen search functionality by allowing Trainers to search through their Pokémon’s moves using the @ character.
• Resolved a bug which caused the Raid Boss to always break free from the last Premier Ball.
• Resolved a bug that prevented Trainers from seeing they’d received double XP from Raid Battles when using a Lucky Egg.

From Aug 31 to Sept 30: Raikou will appear in the Americas, Entei in Europe and Africa, Suicune in Asia-Pacific region.

They will move on Sept 30 and remain in those locations until Oct 31. They will move again on Oct 31.

I've seen them around, but again, empty raids and they can't be soloed.

I'm up to 7 10km eggs in the bag now, need advance notice of the next 2x xp event so I can hatch them all with a lucky egg for quadruple xp action.

Dex is 190/222 and I have 22 new evolutions ready to roll in the same event, plus a flock of Pidgey

Now I just need to get me some 2km eggs, hopefully plenty show up once I empty out the 7x 10km eggs during the event.

Hatched an evolve worthy totodile today fro a 5km egg, so when that event hits I'll have all 3 Johto starters with +80% IV to their final evolution, while I'm still short about 50 Squirtle candy and 100 Charmander candy for the Kanto starter evolutions, let alone a decent Squirtle or Charmander to use them on. I haven't seen a Charmander or a Charmeleon in over 6 months.
