2G iTouch's can be jailbroken now, new software was released on the 11th.
What would be the main reason you'd want to jailbreak your iPod? I have no idea what it means, but I've heard about it.

Be careful, my colleague's son bricked his after JB, but mainly it's because he has NFI.
Anyway, sucks to be an iTouch user as they have to pay $10 for the new OS coming out

Oo. Googled it and apparently it may give us cut and paste. CUT AND PASTE!
Does the June 17 release actually mean tomorrow, because the Yanks are a day behind us?
What are you going to put on it? Work out how much space you need, and get the smallest one that accommodates your needs.I currently have an iPod 30gb video and i'm thinking of getting a touch and keeping the other one for videos. What gb touch should i look at?
...7I almost got an 8gb iPod touch thinking it would be enough. But i got the 16gb one to be on the safe side. I've used up 10-11gb now i think. Videos, apps etc all add up on top of the music you have already on there. Btw, my 16gb iPod only has 14.5gb capacity. Not sure how much actual capacity the 8gb model would have. Maybe the same in OS (i assume) down to 6.5gb?
I've got around 500 songs or so and I'd keep my other one for movies. Mainly want one for the apps and wi-fi
500 songs is only 2 gig in total, and apps arn't all that big, so 8gig 'll be fine.I've got around 500 songs or so and I'd keep my other one for movies. Mainly want one for the apps and wi-fi
