Wasn't me talking about "Arab Islam". It was this Dr Kamal Mirawdeli who I gather is quite a Kurdish voice:

Cop out.
Its quite obvious that you agree with this Dr Kamal. Perhaps you can ask the good doctor what exactly is 'arab islam'.

the moral compass of the Islamic world?
10/10 for originality their Jane.
It was you that implied that the actions of arab muslims against Sudanese muslims is somehow a reflection of the Islamic religon.
I just merely raised the point re Christianity. I wonder..do you judge Christianity by the actions of the German Christians against the Christian Gypsies??
Why do you judge the Islam religon by the actions of the few...and more importantly, why is it only Islam in which you do this.
No mention of morality Jane. I'm not justifying the actions of the arabs by comparing it to the Nazi's. What I am doing is exposing your hypocricy and you anti-semetic tendancies (yes Jane...arabs are semites remember).

Again, it was not I who raised this. But the Kurdish poet Dr Mirawdeli. You should post his article in full and reply to his points.
Yes I should, but quite frankly, I don't have the time, and I wouldn't wanna upset Evade28 with my 'longest posts in the world'.

My curiousity is this: Are the Arab Muslims of Sudan justifying their genocide of other Muslims on the Q'ran as Dr Mirawdeli suggests?
And if so, why is their interpretation of the Q'ran not as valid say, yours?
Are they? You tell me Jane. Have you heard any statements from the arab militia in Sudan using religon to justify their actions. Did the author in question provide any statements as evidence that the arab militia are committing this genocide 'in the name of religon'.
The question must be asked...why exactly are you (and the Dr for that matter) making this an issue of religon, and not just murder and genocide, which is exactly what it is.
And jane...what is their interpretation of the Koran? Can you tell me that.
you tell me what exactly their interpretation of the koran is...provide evidence that this is their interpretation, and then I will tell you why they are wrong.
Deal??

Am sure the Dafaris will be relieved to hear that.
Yep...about as relieved as those Palestinians in Gaza were when they heard that Bush still believes in a two state solution.

Oh, and is it looping the news on Al-Jazeerah as say ... other events of certain perfidious westerners in Iraq ...?
No more or less then the western media reporting of this story.
So tell me Jane.....why has the west been so silent about these attrocities.
No oil....not enough resources to make it worth while, or perhaps there is no strategic advantage in having a military presence in Sudan.

No less than I would have expected ...but you've never posted about these things here ...
There are plenty of things I haven't posted about..doesn't mean I agree with them.
I haven't posted about the Chenya'n crisis and the Russians...I haven't posted about the Kashmir question in India.
Do you take my silence on these issues as tacit approval of these situations??

Lestat, I think the one word the African Muslims in Sudan might want to hear most at this moment is "Liberation".
Don't you?
Agreed....
What do you think the Palestinians would like to be hearing at the moment Jane???
