I don't mind Chris Scott. I don't mind Hawkins. Love Danger. Loved Bartel. Harry Taylor and Longergan are absolute champions of the game. Nakia will hopefully live up to his potential. I like him

But the armchair specialists on BigFooty seem to think he's a blight on the game
Only for the way he plays for frees with his shrugging and ducking

Fair enough. But I suppose I am communicating that it isn't some irrational anti-Cats hatred. I honestly don't like his tactics. I agree with posters above who say that you can be tough as nails and a great player and still play for frees all the time. One doesnt preclude the possibility of the other.
I get why Cats fans stick up for him because he can be a great player and he is brave but it is seriously hard to respect him when he dives that flagrantly.

My favourite was the game against us when the commentators were demanding protection for Sloane because Hawthorn were muscling him away from the ball. He had 6 free kicks that game. Clearly not enough.
Of course when the same thing happened to Sicily he managed to give away 7 rather than get 7.
NFI when we last had a player get 6 free kicks in a game. Sloane, Duckwood and Clangerfield seemed to get 5 or 6 frees half a dozen times this year.
