If not, then what the hell is going on here tonight?

On one hand, there's the more 'mature' members of bigfooty teasing each other and making up nicknames live 5 year olds, while at the same time the 'bigfooty kids' are all up in arms about private things said in a public place when they shouldn't have been, regardless of their truthfulness.

So before half our little community gets banned or leaves, how about everyone just take a deep breath and a break until tomorrow?

Anyway, it's none of my business.... but I'd just hate this place to be scrapped because of stuff like this.


Where's that Peace pipe that used to do the rounds back in the 'good' old days of chat?

I agree K. Everybody has to chill. I dont know whats going on with Mags or Frodo or why ppl are leaving or threads been deleted. And another thing i have noticed is there has been a fair few people on BF tonight yet very few posts. Everyone is sort of sitting back...

Weird night, maybe it will be back to normal tomorrow.

With respect to the deleted threads I believe that after a spate of threads relating to Joffa the moderators penned some rules and got tough. I believe that this 'toughness' has gone too far and the moderators need to take a good look at what is really offensive and what is acceptably offensive. On boards where emotive discussion is held a certain amount of acrimony, personal insult and wind up just has to be exceptable. Cull it all and the boards will die. A level headed approach is needed.
