I personally feel that the AFC treats us like little kids, tell us one thing does another, the club seems to becoming elitist and has no respect for supporters views or opinions, all they want us to do is pay our memberships, tickets , whatever - sit down shut up and leave without having any issues with how the place is run, I would like to see the AFC open up a Board on this site which answers questions of it supporters not just some stupid Q&As on the poor attempt at a web site

hear hear.

All they really want is for us to dish out our hard earned so they have the financial advantages of strengthening the boys club.

And people thought Saddam Hussein was a dictator:rolleyes:

I think George 'The last thing the Iraqi people would want is another country invading them' Bush is more likely to put a gun to your head than Saddam.

The good thing is Georgie wouldnt know how to shoot, or would propably miss.

When Vietnam was on he was lethal in a fighter-jet...

... while over the Gulf of Mexico.

I have felt like this for a couple of years now (I remember starting a similar topic 2 years ago, I think it was the first topic I actually started on here). The AFC is only interested in supporters money (made obvious by the fact that in the new stand, 11 dailies are cheaper than a season ticket, another issue I've raised before).

The club is absolutely out of touch with its supporters. The official web site is a disgrace (I can't remember the last time I visited the site), the season ticket prices are a rip off, and we appear to be getting less and less value for money with them (my silver member sticker is all faded, whilst the badge broke in round 4!). Not to mention that every time a member has run for a board position as a 'voice for the members' they are always voted out. What does the board have to fear? What are they hiding from us?

Maybe the only way the club will listen is with a mass member walkout (and people on the waiting list declining their subsequent membership offers). Maybe then will they wake up and listen to the supporters needs. I would hate for this to happen, but it may be the only way Trigg and Sanders will wake up and realise that the members are angry!

Too f***ing right. The whole thing stinks. I'm not stupid and neither is anyone else on this board. Any fool could see that the process was rigged from the start. I haven't seen any justification of their selection of Craig over Eade.

I wonder what their reaction would be if a large number of disgruntled supporters were to boycott the next game to show them exactly how the majority feels.

Boy I'm p*ssed off!

AFC should have proper member representation on the board - ie. someone who sits out in the outer every 2nd week, not a "yes man" appointed by the SANFL. This is imperative so they stay in touch with the average supporter, because the majority of us feel like we have no say in our own club.
