Nothing beats the helplessness of losing to the late-2023 iteration of today's opponents for mine. That result made me lose my voice. I wasn't even watching, just keeping track in the car. They'd lost 5 games by 100 points to that point. 5.

But fair play to our lads for trying to deepen the hole; very considerate

This one is worse imo. 50 extra games experience for our young "stars". Meanwhile they had won 1 game since 2024. 15 game losing streak.

Eh. Personally I've been through enough North angst that literally nothing will surprise me.

That result blindsided me. I've not since been blindsided by any result, including today's, which is a mercy. A ****ing small one, but still

Steady, we've had 2 decent weeks in a row (don't rate the Essendon game which was arguably our poorest effort of the season).

Thrash Richmond and beat the Giants and I'll put the trauma of supporting this side from 2020 to now to bed.

We've played "decent" football in three of our first five games and for half the other two games.

That is so far from rock bottom its not funny.

We're genuine chances (ie chance of an upset of favorites) in 12 games we haven't played yet and should be favorites in five (including Eagles).

For me it was either the 100 plus drubbing down at the scumary a few years back or the night comben did his knee against the demons and we lost by plus 90

IMO in retrospect rock bottom is the last 3 rounds of 2024.

There were shit moments in 2025 without a doubr and it felt like we were barely holding ground.

But those last three rounds where we lost the unlosable followed by two losses for a combined 220 points.

That is as low as we got.

all of it from the last 5 minutes of the West Coast game were everything went wrong. had our hearts ripped out and then systematically stomped on for two rounds in a row.
