I am surprised he isn't getting more love on here. Has been a great addition to the side thus far.

Ultra consistent, covers a ridiculous amount of ground and is just a pro.

I have enjoyed the Isaac Smith experience much more than I expected. Kudos.

Agree H29. I felt when we were struggling early he was one of our better players. Has been pretty reliable.

Absolutely! To date the most consistent, impactul player of the big three recruits.

I was one who raised an eyebrow when we talked about going after him as well as Cameron and Higgins. Thought we were heading a little too far down the track of experienced talent over backing in current listed players to develop.

However, the way he's played these first couple of months makes my opinion look pretty ordinary. Has been a massive boost on field, and clearly loves the footy he's getting to play with our club. If he stays fit and keeps this kind of output coming, he will be a real factor in our prospects for 2021. Whereas I had him pegged as a 'value add' rather than 'valuable'.

Onya, Smitter!

His on field performance has been fantastic but he also seems like a good bloke to have around. When he pulled that famous smile before he missed in that final I thought it was arrogance, but I think he is just a laid back happy lad who doesn't take things too seriously.

Totally this. So refreshing to have a player out there who genuinely looked again last night like he was enjoying his 219th game almost as much as his first. That kind of spirit just has to be a little infectious across the group.

Reckon he is flat that he didn’t stay at the Hawks. They are travelling well.
He might be kicking himself for not going to Melbourne (on better money too?) though

I'm still not all the way used to it but the guy is a winner for sure, makes you realise we've lacked those sort of guys in recent years.

Extremely under rated pick up. Just goes to work when the flow is against us. Send to throttle back a bit when we're dictating terms. Exactly the kind of player we needed to pull us back in when we're not making things happen

I’ve noticed that in the first few weeks we were handing him the ball on his wrong side but we’ve now started to have him overlapping in his left and that makes a huge difference as he is a run 20m, kick 50m player when he has momentum up on his left.

When he made that smile he was responding to a teammate who had said to him that he can’t play-on. He was just indicating to his teammate that he knew that already

Cameron has 13 goals in 4 weeks. he would be Close to leading the Coleman if he had played the full season.
and if my Nan had wheels she'd be a motorcycle.

lol catscollector the serial disagree-er got me again, must be fun following me around on these boards just hitting that disagree button every time I post ;)

Don't know who you are but cheers none the less

How unlike you to take a contrary position for the sake of it. Cameron will be superb when he's clocked-up some game time. Smith hasn't missed a beat and is our most consistent and impactful performer of the 3 so-called big imports as we speak. To suggest otherwise is nonsense.
