I noticed that too and the germans are still showing post-holocaust behaviour, but if you read the references, the authorities are being pushed by jewish groups within germany.

good point...I wonder if the quote/interview is from last century when the current apartheid system was also in place. Or to put it more simply, when did he become enlightened. I can say personally, that I read a couple of israeli "factual" histories many years ago that "brainwashed" me into believing that the israelis were heroic. And I'm also not totally discounting his comment because I realise that it takes anyone in hollywood a certain degree of bravery to speak out..

You can see why the israelis wanted to give out a small amount of food.....a chance to humiliate and get the palestinians into tight bunches so that they're easy to shoot...

A UN official says 47 Palestinians were wounded, mainly by gunfire, during the deadly aid distribution incident in Rafah on Tuesday.
Ajith Sunghay, head of the UN Human Rights Office for the Palestinian territory, told reporters in Geneva that it appeared Israeli army fire had caused most of the injuries.
Earlier, authorities in Gaza said three people were killed, 46 were injured, and seven were missing.

People go by social media, claiming its better than the commercial news networks, but its full of crap.

It is so ridiculous. I saw it about 10 times last week and completely dismissed it. Then it showed up on my YouTube feed again this morning with about 5000 positive comments. We live in crazy times.

lying has become commonplace....you need to seek out the alternate views or explanations and assess their lies.... and then use common sense..

i usually ask myself why someone in lying in a particular instance. Israel always lies and can never be trusted. Social media people lie because they want to get clicks and be famous. Instiutions lie because they are funded by people who want a particular outcome. The list goes on...

fairly obvious in this case that china wouldnt work outside UN system. In this case, i would just go to google and type in china and gaza and maybe limit responses to news items....and then pick a site that relates to the topic and which also has some credibility like reuters...

of course even credible sites are targeted by hasbara....like bombs in caravans...
 
i used to trust the BBC more than most sources but it's become more obvious in recent years that it has been targeted by UK jewish interests...such as getting people in positions of authority in the BBC. And of course, its publicly funded so that its sensitive to pressure put on govt by jewish interests and israeli interests. Individual journalists want to keep their jobs so its easy for them to stay away from stuff that might upset israel. And then if they do post favourable stuff about israel, they will get free trips etc and a smoother career path. So there are a lot of factors impacting on getting the truth in a story....

100%. the u.s has armed and aided them for decades. under both administrations. trillions of dollars. the hope is that other countries will boycott and israel's name will smell so much an extent the west will want to have nothing to do with them. what we should not do is throw up our hands in horror and do nothing. that's how they have go away with the occupation and cruelty for so long.
