Bad last Quarter, Walshy will rip em to shreds, we should have won that one by 10-12 goals.

The key thing about today was our pressure and tackling for 3 quarters. When Smith went down so badly and swallowed his mouth guard that would be hard for some of the boys to see, and the 6 minute break then took the steam out of the game.

Welldone Boys a good win, lets bring on Melbourne next week at home

I'll take the 4 points any day of the week. Final scoreline flatters Collingwood, and although we dropped off in the fourth quarter it's not surprising that there will be a drop in intensity and a bit of self preservation once a player gets a serious injury.

Smith apparently doing ok :)

I'll take the win but it was very unconvincing. I was extremely disappointed with the whole last half, not just the last quarter. Walshy gave them a bake at three quarter time too so I'm confident he won't be happy with that performance either. To dominate so much of that game and only win by 30-odd points is very poor.

We're in a new era now. Last year, Sando would have been full of praise and encouragement for that effort:rolleyes:. Walshy is a whole new kettle of fish. He won't tolerate that and nor should he.

A win a way against Collingwood, 4 points, with some problems exposed and something to to work on, probably not the worst result at this point in our development.

Different style of game than last week but I'll take it.

Brilliant news with Brodie up on two legs. This could've been much, much worse.

Let's look at the positives, we beat Collingwood, a team we traditionally struggle with, we're 2-0, Smithers doesn't seem as bad as first thought, we're around the top of the ladder, we have a fit and firing Thompson to come in next week, and a massive game at the Croval next Saturday. The signs are bloody brilliant! GO YOU CROWS!!!! #weflyasone

They have been rubbish , but that was our best quarter , not saying we have wen been bad, just saying we have more in us , wouldn't surprise if we won by 100 still

The team getting thumped is always rubbish and the team pumping them is always gunning it. It's just semantics depending on how you want to swing it.

You just celebrate the win, let Walsh do the angry/critical stuff. :)

great win! couldn't be more happier with that especially as I had us 1-39, we are still a work in progress and its gonna be hard to keep up this pressure but we are up and about, :thumbsu:

Were you the bloke who reckoned final term fade outs are no biggie? Because now its for points and we just surrendered a bunch of %.

Yeah but I'd like to think a consistently winning game plan is more important than one that usually pumps shit sides but loses more often than not.
