With our two big forwards in terrible form I reckon its time we bring in Matthew Spangher. He showed in pre-season form that he is capable of holding down CHB and this will then allow Hunter to swing forward. Either Hansen or Lynch or both will make way for this young gun!

Easy mate, not going to happen. If anything, Kennedy will come in for Hansen. Spangher will come in if we need another backman.

He should get a game for his last name alone, I love saying it:D. I reckon we should rest Glass until his knee comes right and give the kid a go:thumbsu:.

I've wanted him in all season, was a bit disappointed when Graham got the nod ahead of him, I thought Spanghers pre season was better. He's definitely been in fine form this season proper as well. Hopefully he gets a game soon to get some experience in him.

i'd rather see schofield given a game. He can play KP back because of his height, closing pace and vertical leap, as well as a very good engine. His pace and athleticism mean he has very good rebounding ability, as well as the ability to play on the HBF or even as a tall winger.

On form you would have to play Spangher over Schofield but...

Spangher also has good athletic ability as well and is usually quite good with his use of the ball. Rebounds well. Form definitely Spangher over Schofield. Although it's likely both will get an extended run this year if we keep going the way we are.

spangher would be a very good inclusion if hunter or Glass was out but no. Glass will pick up Hall, Bones will pick up o'keefe/o loughlin with hunter picking up the other one of those two. Schofield would allow more height at marking contests with out sacrificing rebounding. I'd love to see schofield picking up a resting ruckman because of his height (195) and his vertical leap he could match up on them defensively, but would absolutely destroy them when running of his opponent.

The "big unit" started his career down back, maybe he could return there for a couple of weeks if Glass doen't come up and we could remodel the forward line with Spangher and Kennedy. Also, I reckon we trade Hansen to the Dockers where he'll get paid $500k per year and we'll get a top 10 pick plus a quality player in return, sounds reasonable:D

Spangher will need another season in the seconds or a few games if Glass and or Hunter is injured then he could get a run but if he had have played 2006 year well enough then give him a run but he needs more time to develop before AFL.

I was at the Essendon v West Coast preseason game, and he looked very good in defense. Accountable, quite good one on one, good run on him.
I'd like to see him come in for Nicoski.
Throw a Spangher in the words. :D
