How's the young fellow going?

Saw him play a couple of times in the NT and thought he was a very good late pick for you guys.

I've got no idea of his progress.

Can anyone fill me in?

We don't really have much of an idea of his progress either mate. Seems to have spent the entire year so far injured although i did notice earlier that he was listed to return in 1 or 2 weeks.

Played in the VFL last week & was praised by the coach for his 2nd half performance in a team which was flogged.

If he stays injury free will defintely get some games this year.

He's sort of disappeared off the radar a bit, has Joey.

Pre-season many of us were hoping that he would cement his spot in the senior side in the back pocket.

Showed enough in his few games last year to suggest that he has a future at the club if he works hard, had a couple of promising games but then unfortunately injured himself.

Many people believe that he will still work his way into the side and cement his spot in the team by the end of the year, but I am not to sure of that just yet.

Really needs to start performing consistently in the VFL before he is a chance of returning. I'm sure he'll get a few games but he is no sure thing to be a starting 22 player for the Blues by the end of the season.

Browne seems to be well ahead of him at this stage, but, having said that, there's not much of a reason why they can't be in the same side together.

I know people will jump down my throat because of this but, I know someone who knows Anderson and has played on him before. He says that Anderson is a boozer and his football ability isn't as good as we all hope he will be.

I reckon Ando towelled him up and he is just bitter and jealous. ;)

Yep. Browne's first couple of games were much better than Anderson's, which doesn't mean a lot in terms of ability, but means the world in terms of taking your chances.

If Anderson wants to make it the list of guys trying out for his spot is getting longer, and he needs to remain injury free and put some good form up.

Still listed today as having an injured hip on the CFC website and expected to miss another 1 or 2 weeks. :(

At the B&F (when it's generally acceptable for the boys to get on the sauce a bit) while most of the boys were drinking beer, bourbon and downing shots, Joe and Clint were drinking Malibu and orange juice -hardly the drink of a serious boozer

i think you were getting yourself mixed up with Ando there Yoss

i hear you like to go for the dacquiri and malibu and pineapple mixes!!!

I thought he showed promise in the senior games he played last year, but much like Hartlett, needs some luck with injuries to show what he can do. I agree that Browne has moved ahead of him, but there's still a place for him in the side if he works hard enough and gets over the injury problems.
