Silly act, needs to cop his whack.
Refuse to hang him out to dry though, I mean it's not like he called for the ball from an opposition player when one of his team mates marked it.

Webster's act created a 50m penalty for Freo, but then something happened and the free got reversed. What happened there? I've not seen any footage of what happened (likely to Webster).

What the **** was he thinking? Usually eye gouge incidents happen when a grapple slips but he's straight up put his thumb in his eye? Very poor from him.

spot on EYE Gouge, it was not, eye poke yes, could have had kicked out for wrong charge
wiki says
Eye-gouging is the act of pressing or tearing the eye using the fingers or instruments. Eye-gouging involves a very high risk of eye injury, such as eye loss or blindness.

C'mon. I'm not condoning a report for an eye poke but Jimmys no dirtier or more stupid for this action than Hodge, Judd, Goodes, Buckley and shitloads of other players who have been reported for doing questionable things on the field.
Get him on board the coaching panel to show 'em how it's done properly.

Eye gouging wasn't the charge though - unnecessary contact with eye area or something like that was the charge.

It's a pathetic act and looked 100% intentional. Shouldn't even be discussing the punishment, should never see somebody go at the eyes. Pretty easy to cause permanent damage, and this is just a sport.
