I'd love to have Darling.

I'm just confused as to where players are actually hit in bumps. I've seen players elbowed in the jaw and the reviewers say it hit their shoulder, and at other times I see a solid bump ( shoulder to shoulder ) and it is deemed high.

Just a bit dazed and confused.

The main point what im trying to say is he is good but overrated in my opinion. The reason I say that is because he Kicked 40 goals from 22 games last season. He kicked 4-5 goals against the likes of Melbourne, GWS and suns. Yes he did kick 5 against freo but it wasnt against the likes of McPharlin or Johnson. On the other hand he was held either to one goal or goalless against the likes of Geelong and Hawks and swans.

Considering your a Carlton Fan, Fev in his final years at Carlton was kicking 70-80 goals a season. He kicked 99 in 2008. That meant he would of kicked bags of 4-6 goals against all sides including top 4-6 sides.

If West Coast want to make finals and be competitive, Guys like Darling and LeCras need to kick goals against all sides, not just against bottom 6 sides. The evidence was shown vs the suns as Darling had a Poor game and that nearly cost them the win.

Never been a huge possesion getter. His problem this year is he hasn't been finishing.
2011 - 19 goals 10 behinds.
2012 - 47 goals 23 behinds.
2013 - 42 goals 26 behinds.
2014 - 18 goals 17 behinds.
Normally kicks 2 goals for every behind, but more of a 1:1 ratio this year.

Playing a different role at times this year. Attending centre bounces and having a bit of a run through the middle.
