Could Darling beat a 100kg player like Rowe like that? Darling's good on a lead but Fyfe is also great leading. Fyfe just doesn't lose many contests, no matter who he is against. And this is all while resting forward, not playing there primarily.

Fyfe would be an amazing forward. Would be so uplifting to his side and a genuine joy for the opposition to watch. When he kicks 2 goals 6 each game it's sure to be just what freo need!

He missed a couple of set shots, poor but he didn't put up one of the most embarrassing GFs (as 'key' forward no less with his team heavily relying him) in the history of the game.

I know you understandably probably want to blank the game and Darling's performance out from your memory but what about the massive clanger across half back when he had the ball with 3-4 Eagles streaming forward in the clear? Instead of comfortably picking out one of those guys he kicks squaring it straight up to a couple of Hawk players behind them on their own on your defensive 50! Turnaround for another Hawks goal...

Freo would have won the 2013 and 2015 flags with Darling in their team. Do people forget how good he is apart from this year. He had that weird foot thing which prevented him for doing any preseason and he missed the first 7 or 8 weeks of the season. Unsurprisingly he finished the year playing like shite (last two rounds plus all finals).

Nice mark. But 1 nice mark against an average AFL defender hardly makes Fyfe a guaranteed KPP.

He may we be able to play as a KPP forward regularly, but at this point in time he hasn't proved he can like Darling.
