The only bloke who really played like a captain later in the season- kicked goals, showed a bit of aggro while the rest of the team just went through the motions.

Was playing for his career, but nevertheless he knows the minimum standard required now.
Onward and upward ( probably not literally ) from now on I hope. I like the kid, got a bit of chutzpah about him.

I'm also really pleased we re signed him. I hope at the end of 2020 we will be saying, thank goodness we didn't let this guy go back in 2018

Probably. But he did enough I think.

Time will tell if it was a good decision. He's still young and has potential to improve.
