He copped a fair slagging on the Hawks' board in one thread. A few seemed pretty confident that their defenders had no concerns about Jack. Still like to see him do it against the better defenders but today's hit out should do his confidence a world of good.

its becoming scary, since he is not yet back to top form, still has that magic that few are graced with, i.e. making something happen out of a a nothing hack and in conditions that should not have suited him bags 6...will win the coleman under double wraps..

Jack has had his knockers for most of the season and you could fairly argue he hasn't played well so far. The fact he has been relatively average to fairly good so far this season AND be sitting second in the Coleman shows just how good a player he is.

His kicking has been below par by his standards and he is still only 1 goal behind Hawkins who is leading. I don't buy into this 'junk time' goal nonsense either - it's not like the Hawks players said "oh well, the game is over, let Jack take a few contested marks and slot 3-4 goals in wet conditions". The game was still there to be won early in the fourth quarter and the skills and effort JR put in was still top notch, like he had been doing most of the day.

Make no mistake about it folks, JR8 is a bonafide gun player and we play better when he is up and about.

Very encouraging performance from jack he looked to hav some spring back witch was my biggest worry about him . Having vicks there instead of miller was a big factor in jack getting a little more space.
