Its interesting. Doesnt mean we will give out favours.

Wouldn't say my trade scenario is a "favour". It's pretty close to spot on value wise. Our 1st Rd pick could fall as low as #11 or #12. I'm predicting it will be #13 (6th on the ladder). A 2nd on top of that, if you're wanting a Top 10 Pick, is a reasonable offer.

Perhaps but that won't change with us. He is a bull and is hard at the contest but he lacks agility and can be a hack kick.

He'll be a good player but I'm not worry if he goes. 1st rounder would be fine
Give you the crows 2018 for him

Ya think he will come straight back in General?
Honestly dont know.

Personally hope we dont rush him straight in.

But Leon in his interview seemed undecided wether he goes through the Magoos or not

When is Hopper due back & what was the injury again?
He has Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) from looking at house's in Melbourne which led to blunt eye trauma, that can be caused by a punch to the face, by an airbag deploying, or watching you're bank balance drop $700 thousand from buying a new home in Melbourne. It can cause a variety of symptoms, depending on the degree of force. How the injury happened must be carefully described to help the doctor uncover any hidden damage to the eye and surrounding muscles and bones.

Jason Dunstall gave Hopper his realestate agents number over a coffee & gave him an Audi handshake to send him on his way ;)

Broke a finger. Matt Kennedy has now gone past him and shows more heart, if he comes straight back in its BS.
As i said. I hope he comes back through the magoos.

I hope Hopper's been playing injured or something along those lines this year, because he's been underwhelming for someone I was assured was worth a top 5 pick in a trade a month or two ago.

Saw him play live against us and also watched the replay a couple of times and I barely noticed him out there on any of those occasions and I haven't heard many rave reviews of much his other work for the year.

Would think a trade of picks 13 and a 2nd rounder would be spot on if that club didn't have a pick higher than 13 and he doesn't lift his game between now and the end of the year.

2 years in and your posters say he's now behind kennedy. Taranto is going nicely now as well. How does Hopper get a game?

Pick in the teens probably gets it done and is about fair enough if Hopper nominates.

GWS probably don't lose too much sleep due to their crazy midfield depth...Taranto can get more mid time, Setterfield is in the wings and still have Griffen and Coniglio to come back.

What has that got to do with his value to other teams?
Just because I have 5 Ferrari's doesn't mean you get the 6th cheap because I already have that colour.

The question is his value on the open market, not his value to the giants.

A hypothetical (as usual around here) - GWS retain Kelly on big numbers for next couple of years...... cats give pick [19] (from Carlton) this year, plus first round pick next year, plus Mackie (albeit a FA who takes johnson's old man spot for a year before moving to development coaching role) in exchange for hopper and Smith (both out of contract).

correct and they will see him as a young player who's not best 22 at gws.
