MRP / Trib. Jacob van Rooyen - How many weeks?

High, severe, reckless. Gone.

The question is: how many weeks?

Disclaimer for dumb people who don't understand the rules: it doesn't matter if causing injury wasn't his intention.
You’re going to be very disappointed. He touched the ball, and the actual contact on Ballard wasn’t severe. I’m guessing 1 week if that.

Any similarities to the attempted Fogarty spoil on Murphy ? Genuine question

He didn't touch the ball at all, champ. Even if he did, that doesn't actually change anything because it was a reckless act.

Also your subjective supporter biased viewpoint dies not dictate the severity of the impact. Ballard went off the ground on a stretcher with a neck injury. It will automatically be graded as severe :)

GAWWWWWN :D

Seems you might have just as much objectivity as Melbourne fans here for some reason?

He clearly didn’t mean it but that only means it should be viewed as careless as opposed to intentional. With a cracked neck you’d think it means it’s graded as severe and high which is a visit to the tribunal unfortunately.

Pretty sure if they adjudge he didn’t have eyes on the ball (which he didn’t) it’s intentional

I know, but they won’t do that. Very rarely do things get graded as intentional. Even the Caminiti hit was eventually viewed as careless by the tribunal and the ball was 50
meters away.

Fat Dew did Dees a big solid, said in the presser that Ballard heard his neck crack and so the doctors called for the stretcher out of precaution only- he's fine.

Looks like Roo gonna have a nice day out against the Hawkies!!

He’s just a really average footballer.
Nah, he was averaging 2 goals from his first five games, that's a great start to his career.

You just angry he put Charlie Whateverhisnameis on his arse today and Charlie was too scared to get back up again.
