Jake Carlisle Updates

He may not have been allowed out on the ground or in the rooms but he can attend the match. He went and saw Essendon last weekend. Carlise can go and sit with the other saints players but he cant go in the room or talk about training but as if they wont.

Someone said it was at Tullamarine so I assume it was at the Essendon training facility.

Can Jake get tested while he's suspended? There may be an opportunity for Jake to hit a couple of cycles & get huge.

I seriously hope you are joking!

Jake apparently out for 14 weeks following hip surgery according the Purple. Probably won't see him back out there this year.:p
As bad as it is the timing really couldn't have been better. He'll have plenty of time to recover with no pressure on him and it would seem this was affecting him last year so he should be feeling even better next year.
He would have been out for half of this season anyway.

Didn't we do a medical on him before signing off on him.

My only issue is his rehab. How exactly does the club go about rehabbing a guy they aren't allowed to contact?

that's not a problem heaps of rehab specialists for athletes out there and no need to rush the rehab probably will use a guy from the same private clinic as one of our club specialists

Our head physio's name is Andrew Wallis and he has his own private clinic (which I think is the case for most physios hired by AFL clubs) so Jake may do his rehab work at the private clinic.

Removing the "Carlisle" tattoo on his back, perhaps. :)
Why would he do that? It's referring to pride in his family, who have stood firm together in the midst of adversity.

He wouldn't.

I might if I had a self-titled tat, but then it would serve me right if I changed my mind, wouldn't it ? :D

Perfect timing really. Out until middle of June and then start up an early pre-season early July into September when he's back at the club :thumbsu:

**** I'd love to punch Purple square in the face. Just the way he talks and presents his bull shit story's makes my blood boil. WTF does the flog have against the Saints anyway? Always look for the low blow. Such a ****ing rat of a human being...

The way he phrased it that Carlisle's injury (poor performance) was the reason he was unhappy at Essendon not the injecting him with unknown substances or general the dysfunction
