I think he's ahead of Betts, even with Rioli but should be well ahead him (perceived Hawthorn media bias) and behind Wingard

Depends how the AA selectors go with the team, do they pick 13 mids or go with say 8 or 9 and have a normal looking team?

Normal AA team

DEF KPD DEF
MID KPD MID
MID MID MID
MID KPF MID
FWD KPF FWD
RUC MID MID
MID MID MID MID/RUC

If he gets picked it will be in a forward pocket

Kennedy, Betts, Wingard, Stringer should all be in the forward line. With either Walker or Cameron and likely one midfielder(Dangerfield) in the last spot.

They have picked 3 KPFs the last 5/6 times. The exception being a resting ruck in the pocket (Dean Cox - 2012).

True, but Cox did play as a true ruck/fwd that year, think he averaged over a goal a game that season, and ended up getting ruck/fwd status in Supercoach/Dreamteam in 2013 from it. 2nd rucks have been picked on the bench also, depends on the silly direction they want to take with the team.

Another KPF should be in your 4 "locks", my only locks are Kennedy and Wingard up forward.

I'd have Walker at CHF. What he has done for that side in a trying year is sensational.

Not to mention Walker and Stringer have both kicked 19 goals in the past 6 games each. J.Riewoldt (9) and J.Cameron (12).

Late season form counts.

Martin/Gray, Walker, Wingard
Betts, Kennedy, Stringer

The other one of Martin/Gray on the bench.

I've got two in there Kennedy and one of Walker/ Cameron

They like putting in players who have performed for more than one year so I don't think he will make it this year but get on him know for 2016 when he will kick 60-70 goals. Not sure if they bet on All-Australian but if you can get odds for 2016, get on the package now!

Chad wingard in 2013 the obvious exception.

Late season form is everything to get an AA spot. Stringer has that.

He gets similar numbers of disposals per game (close to 14 - 15 they both average) as cyril yet jake has 14 more goals in the same number of games. Would be highway robbery if Cyril got in and String didn't.

Reminds me much more of G Ablett Snr.

I thought people were being silly when they started comparing him to GOD, but I must say over the latter half of this season I'm coming round to the theory that he could be the closest we have seen to the great one.

What will he be like when he builds a tank?

B- Michael Hurley Daniel Talia Rory Laird
HB- Heath Shaw Alex Rance Kade Kolodjashnij
C- Andrew Gaff Nat Fyfe Dan Hannebery
HF- Patrick Dangerfield Taylor Walker Dustin Martin
F- Cyril Rioli Josh Kennedy Chad Wingard
Ruck- Todd Goldstein
RR- Matthew Priddis

Jake Stringer Vs Rioli, Breust, Betts, and Gunston.

Surely Wood gets on field in front of KK. He was useless for the first half of the season.
Fair point Hoges64 Wood was better early and KK has been very good lately
i think to be honest the selectors would probably go with Hodge anyway.
Hypothetical for you if you could swap Easton Wood and KK would you ?

Yikes.

I guess probably not. Both having very good years now but I believe we need Woods better defensive prowess and intercept marking ability more than KK's groundwork and ability to drive and create.

Swap for JJ? Maybe, but gun to my head probably not. For Boyd? Probably, only due to the age factors. If both were 22 then probably not. For Biggs? Again, gun to my head probably not.

For Darley, yes, that's our swap.

Sadly, I can't find a spot for KK on our list except to replace Boyd in 2017, or for Darley now.

Who would've thought that? I would've replaced our entire back 6 except for Moz and Murph with him last year.

As far as i know we only have one Darley we would need at least five
to secure KK and even then it's not enough. I like your sense of humour
though, i took KK in front of the Bont.

I didn't know where to post this but considering Jake will no doubt make the team, AFL Players have named the midfielders for the squad of 22under22. Wallis, bont, Macrae the 3 who made it from the dogs (which is the most apart from GWS who also have 3).

Stringer and JJ I also expect will be in the squad.

EDIT: JJ has made the squad.

Don't think the forwards have been released yet.
