dont know whick kennedy your talking bout but the one from the eagles is 196cm. Also alot of club sites actually dont really update heights that often and certain players do have little spurts around 18-20. Like tex is no way 192cm and both roughy and roo would be a bit taller than that now.I think this warped idea that a key forward needs to be some 195cm+ freakishly athletic beast is good in theory, but falls down somewhat in practice. Buddy Franklin's don't grow on trees. The facts are some of the best key position forwards currently and of recent times have just not fit that bill. Natural football ability and goal sense will always win out, which stringer has in spades.
Jay Schulz 193cm
Taylor Walker 192cm
Jarryd Roughead 193cm
Nick Riewoldt 193cm
Jack Gunston 193cm
Josh Kennedy 194cm
Matthew Pavlich 192cm
And IMO his most apt comparison (just on-field hopefully for all Bulldogs fans sake) is Brendan Fevola who at 191cm was one of the best and most commanding Full Forwards of recent times. Stringer is listed at 192cm and if you listen to some bulldogs fans they suggest he's a bit taller still.
Taking all this into account and the fact he's built like a Full Forward already at age 20, its silly to say he's to short and not athletic enough to succeed as a key forward. Especially considering barring endurance (which you'd expect him to build over the coming years) he'd be equal or superior to all of the above players athleticism wise, except maybe Roughead.
