JJ is someone that I like but he didn't even record any goals at VFL level on the weekend, missing both shots. He's more of a sidegrade at best.
I'll tell you what he's got - no seriously strong competition for his spot. Can't afford to have liabilities on our team who contribute nothing. Teams are so even these days. Persons must have photos of Scott.

Parsons needs to take ballet lessons. lack of intent is not his worst problem. Its his lack of foot coordination.Parsons needs to watch Jones and Kelly effort and bring that to his game.
He can do it - just needs to.

He had a bad stress fracture foot at the end of his TAC season. Wonder if that is relevant, but tbh, I just don't see that as his issue.Parsons needs to take ballet lessons. lack of intent is not his worst problem. Its his lack of foot coordination.
Parsons needs to stay in VFL until he shows he is prepared to give 100% at the top level. Simple.it was too easy for parsons to get a game early
he needed a bullet, now has it
and looks lost in the vfl
I should point out that at the time of writing, three of those were unavailable for selection, and Narkle had only played the one game and Jones had done nothing in his two or threenarkle, parfitt, jones and when fit mccarthy, menzel and cockatoo.

I agree with the first part, but I think that the judgement on his VFL performance is harsh. He's only played three games of VFL this year, and was in the best twice.it was too easy for parsons to get a game early

I don't think it's intent. I'd say that with someone who oozes talent like Motlop, but with Parsons... I think it's that he's too raw, and not yet heavy enough. He just gets pushed off it really easily.Parsons needs to stay in VFL until he shows he is prepared to give 100% at the top level. Simple.
I could agree with Parsons being too raw and lacking strength - but I’ve also seen situations he could have worked harder, given more effort but didn’t....I don't think it's intent. Probably for a different thread but McCarthy is heading dangerously close to Josh Cowan territory these days. Drafted in 2011 for a grand total of 29 senior games. He has only cracked double figures in a season once.narkle, parfitt, jones and when fit mccarthy, menzel and cockatoo.
