Dead eye dick for goal and 13 tackles today, to go along with averaging about 7 over the past month including 11 last week.

The tackles are out of control. Really looks at home, and is usually very accurate in front of the sticks.

Enjoying watching him ply his trade currently.

Beastly tacking pressure again from Cripps, third in the league for tackles as it stands (with 6 games to come this round obviously).

Once McInnes is replaced with Darling our forward press will look imposing.

Yeah his kicking for goal has improved immensely. And he's in the game for a lot more these days too, had a habit of only showing up for 10 minutes a game last year - seems to have left that behind.

I see they rotated him through the middle a few times today , bit more than normally.

Seems to be a bit of a merry go round happening with mids and the small forwards.

I wasn't a fan of his until the last third of 2014 season when i thought his chasing and work ethic was brilliant. Just ask thorne89

He's improved his kicking out of sight, and is a much stronger player in the contest this season (refer to the footage of him owning hoff), he also stands up in tackles alot more and has generally lifted his hard ball output.

Glad he's getting midfield time. He's strong enough now and has a big enough tank to contribute.

Not a bad supplement to Kennedy.

I'm prepared to eat a sh1te load of humble pie, i thought he was a downhill skier of the highest order. He has proven me so wrong, and what he has done in terms of tackles and goals is great, but for me the best thing his form has done has allowed Lecca to play in the midfield from time to time, improving our midfield ball use.

I think a few people here did too so don't feel to bad. I've been guilty of it with other players but I've always thought he was a decent player. Not to this extent though. He has gone from being a handy goal or two kind of player to one of our best every week

Though will be hard for Newman as Hill is in amazing form.

Yeah the small forwards in Lecca hill and Cripps seem to push up the ground opening up space for JK and another tall to lead into . It's Cripps pace on the way back to goal and our quick ball movement that is getting under the guard of opposition. What is impressive is Cripps kicking skills have been outstanding

Cripps had a few moments over the past couple of years where he turned uncontested ball going forward into pure clangers directly to the opposition.

The doubt over his skill was justified at the time but he has infinitely tidied up his disposal and knows how to play within his limits.

Playing fantastically well this year.
