Jamison's shoulder

Chaired Thornton off the ground after the game. Hopefully just a precaution to rest him for the secind half.

It was good of the team to let the guy coming back from a knee reco and the guy with chronic shoulder problems to do the heavy lifting there at the end... surprised it wasn't Walker and Murphy carrying Carrots off, too.

Don't know just had a bad feeling about it, but now you have soothed me and sated my soul. Good to know he is 100% ok we will need him this week.

He grabbed at it when he was contesting the ball with Riewoldt in the 1st quarter out near the boundary line. Given that he chaired Thornton off, you'd have to think that he was ok.

As earlier posters have said - it was an arms raised smother HBF

Shot I took right after it happened. Got up and played fine. Would be surprised if he didn't play next week..

Good pic. When it causes this reaction we are going to endure many an anxious moments this year :o

Have a feeling he's not playing this week.

I just hope this isn't another Andrew Walker case where it takes us years to make the right decision and operate.

I think though the issue with operating is that it can limit the players range of motion which means they won't be able to reach as high above their heads after it. Just watch Walker and Judd mark these days, their elbows never go much above their eye level. Not being able to reach very high above your head would be bad news for a full back.

All this being said I have reacted like this many of times from a hit to the shoulder and things always come up peachy, touche wood.

I just Hope Austin and White are fit and firing soon so we can have them on standby.

Just finished watching the replay, and Jamo did finish the game on the ground, which really should have meant right from the get-go that he would more than likely play on Thursday. Oh, and the fact that he was one of the two that chaired Thornton off the ground as well.
