The difference between Pellegrini who has an expensive squad and getting them to play the most entertaining football in the country, and Mourinho, who has had hundreds of millions upon millions to spend in every club he's been at, and always ends up playing the same boring, dour, hard nosed, dirty crap, again and again. It's a deliberate attempt to not play the game in a pleasing manner in exchange for results, that's why it's anti-football. In a similar way, that's why we ****ing hate Stoke

Somehow Mourinho's defensive setup at Real Madrid still broke the record in La Liga for goals scored, not sure how that happened.

I don't want to get in a shitfight with you but how many Chelsea games have you watched this season? Because we haven't had a defensive style at all. We've dominated possession and shots in almost every game bar 3 I think. We are constantly attacking this season, as much as any team. The reason it may not look it is because of the lack of firing striker. That's why I'm arguing with people, it's pretty clear to see that we're playing a very different style to 2004.

Watched plenty. Highly effective, but boring as ****. More reliant on the brilliance of individuals for entertainment than any sort of tactical approach.

2004 was probably the last time Chelsea under Jose was a good side to watch. Robben/Duff/Cole on the wings and it was good to watch. Since then - clinical and effective is how I'd describe Chelseas play.

FWIW I'm not a big fan of the shootout approach we take either.

Fair enough mate. Maybe we would seem a bit more exciting with a better striker as I think alot of our good play ends in nothing as soon as Torres, Eto'o or Ba lose the ball 90% of the time!
