Funny you say that I have had this bad feeling since we traded out impey and Trengove that wingard would request a trade after his contacts ends just a feeling and nothing more. Just a few things I read on instagram and twitter that got me thinking. Hope I’m wrong

We really, really shouldn’t be playing Polec this weekend if he’s leaving for North.
This isn’t based on bitterness or anything like that. We can’t risk him getting injured and it doesn’t benefit us to play him when we could be playing a player that will be with us in 2019.

Clarko said he enjoyed coaching Wingard years ago when he was coaching the IR it's been the only tenuous link brought up time to time ever since.. Wingard coming out of contract will attract calls to his manager from far and wide in reality.

If our South Australians become feeder players for Victorian clubs we might as well shut up shop. Burgoyne and Polec leaving sickens me, Wingard would be the final straw.

i have always said if he left it would be with the hawks or Collingwood. Hope we are all just speculating. I’m sure impey would also try lure him they are great mates. Hope this is not the case and hopefully the club are already taking care of this situation
We haven't lost many we've wanted to keep thus far but you also have to remember that player movement is being encouraged like never before no-one is immune.
As I said before if we don't improve our on-field style we'll give players another reason to leave aside from coin.
Its such a farce.
Technically they cant make and offer and he cant accept it.

No one is saying a trade has been done. But we all know the reality of offers. We did the same with Dixon.

I hope the Club has some plan other than Amon & Bonner embarrassing themselves for another season.
