I have very strong reservations that his good form will continue elsewhere, particularly on a long term contract.

That said, he'll be given a licence to attack at North and that will suit him just fine.

I remember when Chaplin played his last game at Footy Park, The crowd was all over him and he booted the ball sideways out of bounds and the crowd bronx cheered.

We had him last line of defence against Collingwood giving up more goals than he created. Let him go and do something with his career. Gets paid more as well.

Seems like just yesterday watching him tear it up in that pre season game against Essendon at Etihad in 2014, back home and immediately looking like becoming the player he had promised to be in his draft year. A few years later and he's gone to chase the cash. It's disappointing but nobody's irreplaceable.

We don't play a brand of football that Port supporters are proud of, (That's putting it lightly, people think our ultra defensive boring football is a disgrace) and our list is on the brink of having to rebuild again.

We're not ultra defensive team except when we get a few goals in front, the coaches like when we played the dogs in ballarat tell the team to go full lock down (lucky we kicked the 1st few, so we didn't inact that strategy) and that's when our skills and the pressure from the oppo makes us crumble

What the hell were we doing halfway through the West Coast game? We had a lead and then stopped trying to win and instead played to not lose had terrible matchups down back and it cost us dearly.

Why do we always try to do just the bare minimum to get by and not put our foot down on other clubs throats. Round 1 vs Freo we went for percentage and it looked great.
