I think the club was pretty clear we picked him because he fills a need we have, its not a difficult concept some clubs have needs hence will pay more to fill them at least we didn't say yeah we had Impey at number 3 in the draft were stoked to see him there at 21 ala every recruit picked at the crows in the past 5 years .....

Sorry, can you give me a link where any crows officials have said we rated any of our draftees in the top 3 of the draft? I'd hate to see a Poort fan's whinge about the crows be affected by hyperbole.

Port Power fans are still yet to realise the draft penalties they have imposed upon themselves with some of their drafting over the last half a decade. Two first round picks blown on butcher and moore. Very little success from the second round or later. With all the top draft picks you flogs have collected you should've won a few premierships! Lol

Oh noes. Ports used two first round picks on two slowly developing players, how dare they! At least ours are good enough to stay on the list of a top 5 team. How's Phil Davis and Richard Tambling going?
Well done on righting that mistake by trading for Lewis Johnson and Tom Lynch! Who you've chosen to replace with a 32 year old...
Also, Matt Crouch had a kicking efficiency of 51% in 2012 which isn't bad for a inside mid. But in 2013 he seemed to shit the bed and it dropped to 45% from 70 less kicks. Good on the Crows for picking him up, he will go nicely with your shank brigade of midfielders.

Davis pick netted is brad crouch, so yes Davis is going quite well thanks. Tambling showed more at afl level than Moore did! Lol
Matt crouch was the best clearance player from the 2013 draft. Impey was a soft outside squib who still only had a DE of just over 60% despite being under no pressure compared to crouch. But sure, I'm sure all port fans are happy with gimpey, I mean Ken said he'd have been taken at 14 anyway right?! Lol

Lol you can have as many reserves wins as you want, they're just as meaningless today as port's sanfl flags. As for "history", your history in the afl has been a joke, characterized by the charity of the crows, the sanfl and the afl to keep your penniless club Alive.
