I am watching the replay of the North Adelaide vs Port Adelaide game on ABC2 digital and found it funny when they went to the huddle at quarter time, Jarman was throwing the F word around and wasn't edited out. They had to leave the huddle early because of the language.

Was very funny.

Thats Jars for you.

To me the funny thing was that he was talking in a calm manner but every second word was f****ing :D

Yeah, it was funny, when he settled down every second word was F***. Gotta love the colourful characters. It is one way to keep the media out of your huddle.

Ebert looks good in the midfield, wonder why Williams never sticks him in the middle...

A fair few blokes look good in the middle in the SANFL but struggle there in the AFL.

As I said on the Port board, I think he is not being handled properly by Choko. He has sucked all the confidence out of him.

Ebert has the potential to be a very good AFL midfielder if given the confidence. I just wonder what Craig could do with him.

Yeah, that is a fair point, I don't think I have ever seen him play midfield in the AFL, gets on the wing or a flank most of the times I have seen him.

Cause Ebert is an over rated hack. Porpoise is better then him

Played for North tonight. Kicked 4 goals and was in the top three players on the ground. Amazing what a good coach can do for a player:p
Other than kicking those goals I didn't think he was that good tonight. I mean he came off a wing for a period and struggled to have much of an impact. He took some nice grabs up forward but I didn’t think he was all that great.

And regarding Ebert, I'm sorry but he's just not good enough at AFL level.

Motlop was pretty good, kicked 4 and took a "screamer".

Ebert was crap last week, picked up cheap touches out on the wing, he looks nothing like he did when he won the Magarey.. he was awesome that year.
Chocolate Williams puts him in the forward line instead of the midfield for some stupid reason.

Jarman is a champion coach though.

Does anyone here think that he'll coach an AFL side?

I think that he could be very successful, after all, he did bring the Roosters up. Something no one has been able to do for years.

Disgree Stiffy.

What points does he bring to the table of AFL mid-field quality?

How does he look against players such as Thompson, Reilly, Doughty, Van Berlo, Knights, Douglas or even Skipworth let alone our first tier mid-fielders. Would you swap any of those for Ebert??

I've had a question mark against Ebert ever since he was picked up by Port and I've not seen one thing to make me other than to think he is a very marginal player at AFL level.

Not his fault, it's just the way it is.
