Jason Johnson in the Brownlow

Any of you guys think that J.J. could top the Dons in the brownlow, he is paying $18.

He's certainly had a consistant year, though Hird had the odd BOG, i think it could be a tight tussle.

Thoughts?

him or pev for our best and fairest, although mcphee might get there as well. I dont think mcphee deserves it though. as for the brownlow its between jj and hird for essendon's best. for some reason pev never gets many votes.

yea, most of the time Pev plays outstanding quaters. i can't remember seeing him maintian it for the full 4

He missed a few games didnt he? That would hurt his chances.

McPhee and Hird will get the most votes - they have the flair that the umpires drool over

Just wondering why you thought Mcphee doesn't deserve it??? He's had a stellar year , all Australian, at least 4 BOGs and throughout a consistent season. I think he'd be well deserving of the Band F as would Pev, Hird and JJ.

That surely can't be right...JJ has missed quite a few games...$18 is well under the odds.

Would be behind Hird and McPhee anyway for mine.

Johnson opened at $21 a few weeks ago. I don't know, i think he's been a consistant performer and could poll in quite a few of your matches, he's usually your better midfielder. Hird had some great games but really did dip. Lloyd didn't kick enough bags and McPhee has been solid but not as good as Hird or Johnson.

I would have thought something like:
Hird/Johnson 13 votes
McPhee/Llooyd 9/10 votes
