I've recently done the same, bought one s*t pair from Kmart and a Just Jeans pair. The Just Jeans ones are long in the crotch and skinny in the calves, need a pair that ****** fits.

Since the weight loss I have no idea how to buy clothes. I bought some work shirts that seemed to fit but the arms are too short, this has never been a problem in my life.

Good problem to have of course but it's a pain in the arse all the same!
Agreed, I feel a little sheepish complaining about this - but it's seriously annoying. I bought an $1000 suit 9 months ago because I didn't have one but it's unwearable now because I've dropped so much weight. Pretty much need an entire new wardrobe.

No one wants to hear you complaining about any aspect of weight loss, and it's fair enough too, basically everyone wants the problems that come with it. I'm actually over people commenting on it in some ways, people look you up and down, and sometimes can say some weird shit, often around how fat i used to be!

Can't remember the last time I bought pants that were long enough. Every single pair of chinos is 3-4 inches short. Completely gave up and just wear colourful socks so it looks intentional but really I'd like a pair long enough!

Still wear decade old jeans as they actually fit.

How often do you get the "what's the weather like up there?" or "you should play basketball!"

Same, I'm over all the comments. I wouldn't classify myself as "fat" before but when you drop close to 20kgs people notice. They make these weird comments like "I didn't think you had it to lose" or "you look healthy". I just say "thanks" and smile and move on now. I don't know what else I can say, I'm proud of it but it does get weird after a while.

Never with the weather one. Every new job colleagues ask about basketball or anyone older I meet for the first time

I play basketball (really poorly) and am rarely even top 3 height on the court.

They're just making clothes for people 5 foot 10 manlets instead of fully grown men lol!

This is my MO now, took me a while to figure it out. I was pretty fat though and I look a heap different (27kg dropped or thereabouts) so clearly people notice which is fair enough.

I'm not in the position of learning to buy new clothes yet. I was fat before, and then put on a shocking amount of weight when I quit my job with nothing to go to, then COVID happened. I'm down about 28kgs, which is pretty much what I put on during COVID, but only about half of what I need to lose.

So I'm in that position where I'm just wearing clothes way too big for me - especially the bottom half, where I've lost a lot more weight - because I can't justify buying new stuff yet, I'm still shrinking.

Totally understand what you mean about it being a nice problem to have. I haven't quite shrunk into "normal" sizes yet, which means I can't just go op-shopping... I guess I just look ridiculous for a few months.

Cos mine is so obvious I can't afford to take offence to it, just say thanks and change the subject.
